🎄 Frequently Asked Questions 🎄
How are the dates calculated?
All dates are determined based on the courier's last post dates, along with the average lead time and average delivery time per courier. We also allow for a couple of additional days to account for any potential delays caused by high shipping volumes during peak times. This approach ensures that we provide accurate estimates while considering possible disruptions in the delivery process.
You can find more information about the UK's last post dates from the Royal Mail Christmas schedule.
How do I use this to inform my customers?
We recommend creating a last order dates page in your e-commerce store using the dates above as a guide. If you have an email marketing list, you should also send an email to let buyers know when to place their Christmas gift orders.
This guide can also be used in your customer service communications. For example, if a buyer from Berlin gets in touch to say they need an order by Christmas, you can advise them to place their order no later than the last order date for Europe, 4th December, to receive it in time.
What happens if my order doesn't arrive in time?
Please note that while we strive to ship orders in time for each courier's last post dates, we cannot guarantee that your package will arrive before Christmas. After the parcel leaves our facility, we no longer have control over its delivery.
Are there any products I can use for a quicker delivery?
Where possible we recommend using our core product range. We forecast stock of those products and ensure that we have plenty in our on-site warehouse to cover your orders over the festive period, which reduces the need to rely on external suppliers who may face delays due to peak demand.
